It’s where spectacular meets prestigious – A World Championship event for wildfowl carvers, collectors and visitors. Over 150 varieties of bird carvings – from decorative pieces of art to functional hunting decoys – are displayed under one roof.
Competitors of all levels--from youth to world champions--compete against their peers for the chance to win a portion of nearly $60,000 in prize money, as well as other recognition including ribbons, medallions, plaques and trophies. Visitors can view the art, attend seminars by master carvers, buy carvings, shop at over 100 exhibits, and bid on carvings at a Saturday auction. Items on display include fine art work, folk art, jewelry, sporting goods, home décor items, and carving/art supplies. There is also a Kids Corner offering make-and-take projects for children.
