- Do I need to bring my own beach chairs/umbrellas/towels, or does the hotel provide them?
The hotel does not provide them, however beach chairs & umbrellas are available for rent on the beach at every other block. Pool towels are available at the front desk or pools, but please bring your own beach towels!
- What free activities are available?
There is a multitude of Free activities available in Ocean City and the surrounding area!
Enjoy Movie Nights on the Beach, Beach Olympics, Concerts, Festivals, Museums, Assateague’s Nature Trails, Beach Volleyball, or just enjoy your free spot on the beach and build a sandcastle!
- Can we ride our bikes on the Boardwalk?
You can enjoy a boardwalk bike ride anytime of the day between October 1st and April 30th.
Other times of the year there are different rules as follows:
- May 1 – Memorial Day: 2 a.m. – 12 noon
- Memorial Day – Labor Day: 2 a.m. – 11 a.m. (10 a.m. on weekends)
- Labor Day – September 30: 2 a.m. – 12 noon
- Holiday Weekends of Springfest & Sunfest
- Can we rent bikes, Jet Ski's and boats?

You can rent a bike from one of the many shops on the side streets off the Boardwalk. A variety of types of bikes from children’s bikes to adult cruisers and four wheel surreys are available for rent by the hour or by the day.
Jet skis and small fishing boats are available for rent at a variety of marinas and watersports venues in town.
- Do you allow pets at your hotels?
We do not allow pets but can recommend several local kennels, so that you can visit your pet during your vacation.
- How close are you to Assateague Island
Assateague Island, where the famous Wild Ponies roam, is 12 miles South of Ocean City.
- What restaurants are near you ?
Ocean City is populated with literally hundreds of dining venues. Each of our hotels is within walking distance to a variety of restaurants.
- What is the price of the local bus and how often does it run ?
For only $2 a day, you can ride the Ocean City Bus from South Division Street 9at the Inlet) to 144th St. And you can ride the bus as often as you like – all day & all night – because the bus runs 24/7.
During the summer, buses run about every 10 minutes ( every 20 minutes after midnight), and they stop about every other block for pick-up and drop-off.
- Where is the closest bus station ?
The closest bus station for incoming and outgoing out-of-town travel is located in West Ocean City at the Park & Ride. It is the new home of the Greyhound/Trailways Bus Terminal. Shuttles run from the station into Ocean City.
- Where can we go shopping and how close ?
Ocean City is the home to a variety of shops. Whether it’s beach supplies, unique gifts & souvenirs, clothing or groceries, chances are that you will be in walking distance from your hotel. There is also an outlet mall in west Ocean City, and fabulous antique stores in nearby Berlin, MD.
- How close are you to the ocean ?
All of our hotels, with the exception of the Oceanic, are directly on the beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean! The Oceanic overlooks the Ocean City Inlet and is one block from the beach.
- How many parking spaces are available at hotel ?
We have one complimentary parking space available for each room or suite. Additional parking is available on the street or in municipal parking lots.
- How long is the boardwalk ?

Ocean City’s famous boardwalk is 2.5 miles long. It begins at the Inlet and ends on 27th Street.
From it’s southern end you can gaze beyond the Inlet and view Assateague Island.
- What are some night time activities for our family to enjoy?

In addition to free activities in the evening such as Beach Movies and Olympics, your family can enjoy a stroll along the Boardwalk, a walk through Northside Park, or have fun at the many of amusement parks featuring rides, mini-golf & water slides which are scattered throughout town.
- Are there nature walks or bike trails ?

Northside Park on the Bay at 127th St. offers a beautiful place for walk of bike ride. Assateague Island, located 12 miles south of Ocean City is a captivating place for a long bike ride or nature walk amidst the Wild Ponies and Sica Deer with beautiful views of the Ocean & Bay.
