Ocean City Golf Course

How does Ocean City Golf Club stand out from the others? For starters, not only is it a yacht club but it also has TWO golf courses. Secondly, other courses don’t have Buddy Sass. It is not every day you meet a man like Sass; he has been head of the pro shop for Ocean City Golf Club for nearly 14 years. His air of confidence on the sport convinced me he was capable of answering all of the amateur-ish questions I could muster up.

Henrys Hotel in Ocean City Md

Tucked away next to the bus station on the corner of South Division and Baltimore Ave, Henry’s Hotel was built in 1895 in a time when Ocean City was deeply segregated.

It’s astounding to think there was a time when music legends like Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, Count Basie and Louis Armstrong came to Ocean City, performed in major hotel ballrooms yet were not permitted to sleep in the same hotels where they performed. Instead they stayed at Henry's Hotel.

New Boardwalk in Ocean City

There's nothing like the smell of fresh salt air. But mix in the scents of some newly laid boards and it only gets better.

The Ocean City boardwalk project is a 2 year project but the south end is already looking great. The North end is getting there too, but they still have a few streets to go.
